This Full Moon in CANCER will be opposite our Sun in CAPRICORN. CANCER is a wATER sign and this energy is Nurturing, Sensitive, Caretaking, Quiet, Protective, Kind, Sentimental, Shrewd, Maternal, Tenacious, Sympathetic, Intuitive, and Comforting. It can also be Brooding, Defensive, Clingy, Nostalgic, Over-Emotional, Easily Offended, Sarcastic, Insecure, Snappy, Sullen, and Smothering.

Anytime a Full Moon is here we need to focus on BALANCE. Our goal is to balance the opposite energies of the Sun {personality/character} and the Moon {Mood/Emotions} as they oppose each other in the sky, pushing and pulling in opposite directions, this puts our energy at odds.

You’re ready to be more BOLD and less cautious and careful now. You’re open-mindedness helps you to reform and think up completely new ways of being and showing up within your personal life and emotionally.

Not to mention the Sun is trine Uranus as well, only 2° apart, and this allows you to really see yourself and possibly make ground breaking self discoveries in areas you have been previous blocked, blind, or in denial. Although the Cancer energy typically likes to be at home, safe, and in their comfort zone, this influence pushes you to feel more like stepping out and doing things differently.

Mercury conjunct Jupiter helps to bring a jovial, upbeat, and optimistic attitude. It is likely that good things are happening and you have reason to be thankful. Business deals are favored and likely to go well. Just make sure you pay attention to the details. It’s easy to focus only on the future possibilities and big picture ideas now. But it is important to know the ins and outs of whatever you are entering into. Especially since Mercury will also be square Neptune which can distort your thinking and cause you to dream up all sorts of imaginary scenarios, unrealistic outcomes, and make you more gullible to outside influence as you believe nothing could go wrong. Don’t. Protect yourself by doing your research, asking questions, and reading the fine print. Another influence this aspect has is that it can make you more susceptible to overdoing it. You may also be more sensitive as you could be feeling run down and depleted. So keep the holiday festivities under control or you could end up paying the price for your overindulgence. Channel that escapist, creative energy into art, dance, or music. Regardless, you are feeling positive, charming, and free spirited now.

With Venus trine Neptune love, romance, and creativity can truly lead to something beautiful and meaningful. In relationships you will be feeling tender, caring, nurturing, protective, and easily committed to those you love. You easily enjoy yourself now and your loved ones company. Not to mention you will also be in the Dark of the Moon which also amplifies this energy until the Full Moon peaks. This is the birth of the Sun. A personal awakening of sorts. A remembrance of who you are and what you want. Make the most of this quiet time to listen to your intuition on what you want, what you need, what you need to release and let go of, so that you can emerge in the New Year a more authentic being than before. You can face the world and live from Soul, you can stand up and be counted but you must first face your self. You must first look within. You must first acknowledge your inner world, emotions, needs, and past conditioning. So that you may face your outer world with more courage, patience, strength, and resilience. The Light emerges now and shines on the darkness that has been lingering. Clarity returns.
