SUPER MOON

This Full Moon is a SUPER MOON which means that the intensity level is heightened. It’s a time when the moon is brighter and closer to the Earth than usual and we are said to be able to feel its magical magnetic pull more strongly. Some say it’s only an optical illusion. I say the closer any energetic body is to us, the more we feel it. 😉

This Full Moon in TAURUS is opposite our Sun in Scorpio. Taurus is an Earth sign that is ruled by the planet Venus. The focus is on stability, dependability, patience, generosity, values, self-worth, sensuality, affection & creature comfort. Taurus energy can also bring about laziness, stubborn or fixed attitudes & possessiveness. They are peaceful, warm-hearted, kind, nature oriented and security focused.

Scorpio is the 8^th sign of the zodiac and is known as the scorpion. Scorpio is a Fixed, Water sign and is ruled by Mars/Pluto. Scorpios have dedication and magnetism like no other. These are the detectives of the zodiac and they love to analyze and research everything for it’s deeper meaning. Scorpio is always looking for intimacy, and not just any intimacy, it has to be intense and deep. They do need to be careful of being obsessive, jealous and relentless. They can really hold on to a past hurt and hold a grudge forever. They need to realize that this will not serve them. Scorpio tends to get the worst rep in the zodiac. They are actually a very interesting and complex sign. They are sexy, charismatic, mysterious and colorful. Theirs is the sign of the scorpion as well as the eagle. The Scorpio is capable of whatever he puts his mind to. They can back themselves into a corner, like the scorpion, and sting themselves to death, or they can soar to great heights, like the eagle. Don’t underestimate the Scorpio. As long as they don’t fall into the self hatred trap that so many of them are prone to, they can reach heights that some of us only dream of going. Any job involving investigation, research, occultism, mysticism, or psychology is good for the Scorp!
