Full Moons are a time of Manifestation, Contemplation, Balance, Realization and Letting Go!

 

This Full Moon is in Scorpio, opposite our Sun in Taurus. Scorpio is a fixed, water sign that is very perceptive, intuitive, tenacious, dedicated, sexual, loyal and focused. This energy can also be jealous, attached, resentful, manipulative and secretive. The influence of Scorpio is not overly trusting or open, and having the Full Moon illuminate our deep dark places can feel a little uncomfortable.

Being opposite our Sun in Taurus, where the focus is more materialistic in nature, a balance needs to be found between the physical {Taurus} and spiritual {Scorpio} worlds. Allowing your need to understand the deep, psychological, underlying spiritual meaning of everything to be BALANCED with a sensible, logical, and pragmatic perspective. It’s time to have an understanding of not only one or the other, but BOTH. Seeing the value in this physical, material world and keeping your feet firmly planted while still having a deeper understanding of the mysterious, the underworld of emotions, desires and the unseen.

The Sun just moved into the grounded and reliable, peace loving, creature comfort sign of Taurus on Monday, April 20th. The pace slows down, the focus turns to earning an income, and becoming aware of the value and pleasure that is brought to us through hard work and staying the course. Simple pleasures, quiet nights in, home cooked meals, and affection are what makes life worth living. We don’t feel as much of a need to rush but more of a need to stop and smell the roses, take it all in and appreciate our life. Get your feet in the grass, breathe in some fresh air, get into the morning hours of the sun, get your hands in the dirt-Enjoy life’s sensual pleasures.

 

Taurus is the 2nd sign of the zodiac and is the sign of the “Bull”. Taurus is a Fixed, Earth sign and is ruled by the planet Venus. Taurus is known for their endless patience.
