Be LOVEd

I am worth it

GIVE Love. BE Love. Be LOVEd.
YOU are worth it.

Loving your self isn’t always so easy to do. Love your self even though you don’t have what you think you ‘should’ to be lovable enough…The job, the house, the car, the boy/girlfriend, fiance, wife/husband, the perfect body, the recognition you deserve, the perfect family, the big raise or anything else your mind will come up with to tell you you’re not worthy of love!

YOU ARE WORTHY OF LOVE NOW, EXACTLY THE WAY THAT YOU ARE.

Today, on this hallmark holiday, remind your self of the importance of love. NOT because you need a significant other or the fancy dinner and roses… Remember the importance of loving your SELF. Don’t seek it from another…Feel it within.

We’re all reflections of each other. Only once you accept and love EVERYTHING you are, and are not, can you then accept and love EVERYTHING another is and is not.

YOU ARE LOVABLE. YOU ARE WORTH IT.

MOON INFLUENCES
FRIDAY, FEB 14TH
3:53pm {pacific time}

★ALL Full Moons have the strongest effect on us 3 days prior and up to 3 days after ★

The Moon is Full in Leo the Lion on Friday, February 14th, Valentine’s Day at 3:53pm {pacific time}.

Full Moons are a time of manifestation, contemplation, realization and Letting Go!

This Full Moon in Leo is wonderful since Leo rules the heart and all things heart centered. Leo is about Love, Fun and Creativity and so our Full Moon in Leo will bring just those things to the forefront of your life. Oh how Leo’s heart hurts when they are unable to express their love. Now the full moon illuminates these feelings and it’s time to SHINE YOUR LIGHT on all that you love! This Valentine’s day has you ready to open your heart and do things in a BIG way. Leo is dramatic and loves attention and to be showered with the goodness that life has to offer.

There is always balance that needs to be found during a Full Moon and this one pertains to expressing your love, emotions, creativity and staying true to your self and your need for independence at the same time. Act from the heart and honor your need to be a part of the crowd while remaining unique and true to your self.

Full Moon in Leo is a time to BE BOLD!

Put your own special flair on everything you do. Bring forth the talents that you have to offer your community without getting too caught up in your head. Honor your own personal identity in an unattached way while also acknowledging your identity & truth within your relationships.

Taking steps to create what is most special to your heart takes COURAGE and the Leo Full Moon will help give you just that!

Freedom in love and creativity is the theme of this Full Moon. Freedom from getting caught up in the rules and expectations of society and keeping the strength to maintain the balance between conformity and authenticity.

Mars, planet of action and aggression, is in supportive angle to the Sun/Moon. This means the Universe is offering us a little help in taking the lead towards making the positive changes that are available to us.

You may be feeling quite aggressive towards putting what you have to offer out there & at the same time possibly a little insecure. If you walk your talk, follow your gut instinct and are feeling supported in taking the steps towards creating what you want then you will be a delight to be around. But, if you are feeling held back or unable to express what’s in your heart you could become extremely difficult & temperamental.

LOVE

Venus, planet of love & relationships, is in a complicated angle to Uranus, planet of shock & surprise, as well as Jupiter, planet of expansion & luck. Your relationships and social life WILL undergo a transformation and it could feel intense or like all of your hard work and dedication has finally paid off.

There could be shocking truths revealed during this time that change your perspective involving your relationships leaving you feeling uncomfortable emotionally. Keep your tendency to overreact under control. It may feel challenging to verbalize your emotions as if you are unable to put what you feel into words.

You could be feeling like you don’t want to be tied down or as if your relationships have lost their appeal unless they continue to challenge you and bring a new perspective to your life. Make sure that any relationship in question right now challenges you in a positive way and is worthy of your time. Your attachments are taking on greater importance. There is more depth and commitment required. If you are in a relationship that is not bringing out the best in you or your partner you may find things begin to crumble or that one of you is acting very jealous or possessive. Be aware of taking things to the extreme and avoid overindulgence.

Saturn, planet of lessons & discipline, is in a challenging angle to the Sun/Moon which makes it difficult to feel completely loved and accepted at this time. Unless you have a lot of support and reassurance from those around you, you could end up feeling bitter and alone as if you have been deprived of love or held back from reaching your full expression in intimate relationships or creative projects.

LESSON

  • Remember to seek love from within. When you have love to give your self you will have it to give to others & you will receive love effortlessly.
  • Release self doubt, judgment and the high expectations you have set for how things ‘should’ be, then you can tap into the discipline available to you from the Universe right now and do the work necessary to release these negative beliefs & feelings that are holding you back from having the love & the life you desire.
  • You CAN move past the constriction of limiting beliefs, doubt and feeling sorry for yourself and set your heart’s deepest desires & truths free.
  • The Leo Moon can bring you much happiness, heart, fun, love and playfulness if you allow it. Release the fear of how you look to others, swallow your pride. Keep the balance between your heart’s longings and your head’s trappings.
  • LEAD FROM YOUR HEART- Allow your love to shine!
  • STAY IN THE FLOW OF CREATIVITY….
  • “If you’re preoccupied with how much better you should be doing something, or whether it will be well received by others—you’re not in the Grateful Flow. To motivate yourself with the sting of the whip is the opposite of creativity, which is spontaneous, joyful, and self-directed.” ~April Elliott Kent

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS Change is still in the air and Mercury retrograde is around the corner (January 30, 2014)

REMINDER

  • New Moons and Full Moons often influence us for the 3 days before and 3 days after the actual event.

New Moon at 11° of Aquarius

  • Thursday, January 30, 2014, 1:38 p.m. PST
  • Thursday, January 30, 2014, 4:38 p.m. EST
  • Thursday, January 30, 2014, 9:38 p.m. GMT

In the Pacific Time Zone, the New Moon will occur at 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, January 30. This New Moon finds the Moon and Sun in conjunction (0°) at 11° of Aquarius. To further clarify how this New Moon will impact you on a personal level, locate 11° of Aquarius in your birth/natal chart. The issues associated with that house are going to be most influenced by this New Moon’s presence.

After the incredible intensity of the January 1, 2014 New Moon in Capricorn and the recent Full Moon in Cancer, we are being given a cosmic break from the barrage of energy that many of us have been experiencing. Yes, we will still have a lot of cardinal energy swirling around us, so taking action will still feel better than sitting back and observing. However, Mars has moved to a position that isn’t activating the ongoing t-square involving Uranus, Pluto, and Jupiter. Consequently, we may still find that change is occurring in various areas of our lives, but we won’t feel compelled to act quite as much.

That’s not to say that we won’t be aware of this New Moon in Aquarius! New Moons always provide us with an invitation for a new emotional start and a chance to set new intentions in the sign involved. As is true of all astrological signs, we can choose to express the higher or lower energies of the sign. Key words for the higher expression of Aquarius are independent, inventive, humanitarian, social, tolerant, and intuitive. Key words for the lower expression of Aquarius would include rebellious, eccentric, scattered, and stubborn. Being an Aquarian myself and having 2 Aquarian siblings (and several other relatives and friends), I can attest to the fact that all of these descriptions can be accurate at different times and with different Aquarians!

An Aquarian New Moon often introduces a time when we want to begin to work with others toward the highest good. We are looking toward the future, and we long to make that future a better place. The Aquarian energy does have a tendency to make us feel responsible for everything and everyone, which can be draining. And although the Aquarian need for individuality and freedom can counterbalance that need for service, we do have to find a balance in order to be happy and healthy.

The Aquarian energy also represents rational intelligence. Our focus typically turns away from “reality” and toward “ideals.” We may feel called to stand up for what we believe to be “the truth,” and we begin to see ways in which we can stand stronger together than we can apart. Interdependence and interconnectedness are part of the Aquarian energy, and we need to find places where we belong and people “of like mind” (and hearts).

Luckily, the Sun and Moon form a sweet sextile (60°) to the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus. This positive flow of Uranus energy at the time of the Aquarius New Moon can assist us in making necessary and desired changes in our lives. We may also experience a deluge of bright and innovative ideas. Some of these ideas will be worth keeping, and some won’t. But we won’t have any shortage of possible solutions to even long-standing problems.

However, this New Moon in Aquarius occurs just 12 hours before Jupiter (in Cancer) and Pluto (in Capricorn) forms an exact opposition (180°). And both of these planets are part of the ongoing t-square configuration in which Uranus (in Aries) squares (90°) both of these planets. (T-squares form a right triangle in the sky.) Anytime 2 of the planets in a configuration, such as a t-square, are exactly aligned, it supercharges the entire configuration. T-squares are often times of major turning points, and for several days before and after the New Moon, we may see family/domestic issues coming to a head. Power struggles, letting go of past hurt, and/or dealing with deeply hidden fears are all possibilities. On a societal level, we may see a deepening investigation of beliefs that might inhibit humanity from moving toward a world that understands that there is a difference between the use of power and the use of force.

The day after the New Moon in Aquarius (Friday, January 31), is an active day astrologically. In addition to the exact opposition between Jupiter and Pluto described above:

Mercury moves out of heady Aquarius and into emotional Pisces. Due to the upcoming retrograde period (see below), Mercury will be moving in and out of Pisces until April 8. Mercury in Pisces will often soften our words and bring compassion to our communication. However, it can also feel like a fog has descended on our brains and make us feel like we can’t see anything clearly anymore. Our imagination, though, will be very active, and we will find ourselves much more intuitive than usual during this time.

Venus stops its retrograde motion and begins moving direct again. We will slowly begin to see progress in partnership issues, obtaining what we desire, and finishing up beautification projects. And Venus becomes a key player in the t-square described above because it is closely conjunct (0°) Pluto, and therefore, it is in opposition (180°) to Jupiter and squaring (90°) Uranus. The planet of love will maintain this position for 5-6 weeks, which will likely put our focus on partnerships and alliances, both personally and professionally. Pluto’s presence in the mix means that anything that was being covert or hidden may be brought to the surface. And the involvement of Uranus will help us all think outside the box when it comes to finding new solutions and setting new goals.

On Thursday, February 6, Mercury begins its next retrograde period, which will last until Friday, February 28. As is the case whenever the planet of communication makes this change in direction, it is an opportunity for us to focus on “re” words, such as revisit, revise, reorganize, reflect, and reconsider. Because our mental focus is turned inward rather than outward during this time, mistakes can happen. It is best to follow the usual Mercury in retrograde precautions and make sure you double (and triple) check details, especially if they involve documents such as travel plans or contracts. We also need to be patient with each other because we may see more snafus involving communication of all kinds, both oral and written.

On this same day (Thursday, February 6), Jupiter makes its second of three trines (120°) with Chiron. The last was on August 21, 2013, and the final trine will occur on May 14, 2014. This very positive aspect is excellent for healing wounds. And given that Jupiter is part of the cardinal t-square discussed above, the healing energy of Chiron will very likely be intertwined with the changes that are occurring in our lives at this time. We may be more open-minded than usual to new experiences that allow the healing of our body, mind, and/or spirit. It is not unusual now to discover a new sense of hope. Restoring a new level of peace and harmony in our personal lives and within our relationships is possible now, but this comes not through changing our external circumstances but through healing our own inner wounds.

Overall, this New Moon in Aquarius is asking us to reflect on ways in which we feel guided to give back to the larger whole . . . to humanity. The activated cardinal t-square will continue to push us toward needed changes in our lives and in our society, and often these changes will involve sudden insights (Uranus) that shine light into what previously were shadowy areas (Pluto). Relationships of all kinds will be in the spotlight, and once Mercury begins its retrograde period on Thursday, February 9, we all need to be patient with ourselves and others when it comes to communication. But working together is key now, and as was so profoundly stated by Mother Theresa, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”
