The Moon is Full in Virgo, the sign of the Virgin, on Monday, February 22nd, at 10:20am {pacific time}.
Full Moons are a time of Manifestation, Contemplation, Balance, Realization and Letting Go!
This Full Moon in VIRGO is opposite our Sun in Pisces. Virgo is an Earth sign that is practical, prudent, detail-oriented, precise, present, health conscious and helpful. This energy can also come across as meticulous, critical, judgmental and perfectionistic.
Anytime a Full Moon is here we need to focus on BALANCE. Our goal is to balance the opposite energies of the Sun {personality/character} and the Moon {Mood/Emotions} as they oppose each other in the sky, pushing and pulling in opposite directions, this puts our energy at odds.
With Sun in Pisces and Full Moon in Virgo you need to find balance between criticism & judgment and compassion & acceptance. Reality vs. Fantasy. Dreaming vs. Practical Application. Spiritual Health vs. Physical Health. Escapism vs. Presence.
How can you turn your dreams into your present reality?
Where do you need to clean up or improve your habits for the health of your body and spirit?
Can you use criticism constructively as a tool for understanding and growth as opposed to ridiculing and condemning?
Are you looking for ways to escape reality or are you being fully present in your life?
When you are living in the present moment and seeing each moment as a gift you will realize your dreams are not far beyond your reach. It’s time to get real about the work you need to put in, in order to see your dreams take shape. Dreaming is not enough. You must organize, make plans, and take steps in accordance with your dreams. Escapism is not your friend and your body will be highly susceptible to irritation and sensitivity to substances. It’s best not to push it, even though this Full Moon may increase temptations. The alternative is a readiness and willingness to deepen your spiritual connection and feel into the unseen, aware of the energies around you and your connection to all.
Because this Full Moon is opposing the Sun and Neptune, which are conjunct, sensitivities are heightened and reality has more of a chance of being skewed. It’s easy to feel you are seeing things clearly when you are really off on your perceptions. If you are feeling overly sensitive, give it a few days before making any big decisions. Use this energy to tune into the wisdom of your body. Health issues, directly connected to your emotions, are likely to come to a head or expand into your awareness now.
If this Full Moon finds you falling into judgment, choose acceptance instead. Nitpicking will only make you, and those around you, miserable. Focus on improvement instead of perfection. Pettiness has no place in your heart. Only love is meant to live there.
