J-Ma’s MOON INFLUENCES
SUNDAY, MARCH 16TH
10:08am {pacific time}
★ALL Full Moons have the strongest effect on us 3 days prior and up to 3 days after ★
The Moon is Full in Virgo, the Virgin, on Sunday, March 16th, at 10:08am {pacific time}.
Full Moons are a time of manifestation, contemplation, realization and Letting Go!
Virgo rules our daily life and activities, the every day responsibilities and small tasks that ARE our life. The Full Moon brings awareness to this and how much fun we are having tending to these details.
How are we approaching our life and the things that need tending to?
What is standing in our way of enjoying every step, every moment and every detail?
What can we let go of that will allow us to have MORE fun, take MORE risks and find a MORE childlike approach & creativity in our every day life?
Virgo is the healer who lives to be of service, bringing what is needed to get the job done and paying close attention to the details & what can be healed through simple acts of service, care and attention to health.
This Full Moon in Virgo, opposite the Sun in Pisces, is asking us to notice where we need balance when it comes to seeing the details of a situation vs. the whole story. How are you getting caught up in pettiness and criticism and can you integrate some compassion?
Are you giving attention to your spiritual & emotional health as much as your physical health? The Full Moon comes to shine it’s light so that we can be more aware of where more balance is needed. Remember that fun & laughter play a huge role in our happiness. We can heal through laughter and allowing our childlike, imaginative nature to shine through again. Now is the time to remind your self, ‘Everything in moderation.’ Working too much, worrying too much and criticizing too much only affects your health in a negative way.
Judgment only hurts you. Forgive and accept imperfections.
When we operate from the negative side of this full moon energy we could find ourselves feeling judgmental, critical and fussy. Watch your mind and work on your acceptance of your self.
Have a critical eye, not a critical heart.
Don’t worry about not being good enough.
If you are here on this planet, YOU ARE ALREADY ENOUGH. Realize your world is your own. You are setting the stage & you are organizing the details. So, create them to your liking!
Rigidity leaves no space for FUN!
Balance taking care of your daily life & activities with taking care of your inner world & imagination. Leave room for love, fun and risks!
Be of service to your loved ones while still tending to your own needs. Though, it feels challenging to say no to others, this sometimes has to be done. You can only give back what you are willing to receive and you have nothing to give when you are depleted.
Take time to make lists of what needs to be done to better plan your days so that you have time for resting too. Be precise in your communication and carve out time to organize your inner world and your outer world. One is a reflection of the other. Now is a good time for journaling and writing whatever has been on your mind.
“When we heal ourselves, we heal the world.”

- Be Discerning, Let go of criticism

SATURN, PLANET OF KARMA & DISCIPLINE, GOES RETROGRADE
On March 2nd Saturn began its retrograde cycle and will stay this way until July 20th. Basically, from our perspective, this is a backwards movement of the planet. It can be compared to the energy of the planet moving more inward. The way this would have an affect on us is that it brings more of an internal reevaluation as opposed to an external action oriented approach towards the structure, discipline and commitments in our life.
Take a good hard look at what you are working on and spending your time building. Is it worth your effort?
Is your plate too full? Does something need to be removed or restructured?
Is what you are doing serving your highest purpose and if not then can you let it go making more room for what does support your highest goals and long term plans?
Some tough stuff can come to the surface to be dealt with right now. If you have put in the work you will be rewarded for it. If you have tried to cut corners or skip what is necessary you will be reminded of it.
With Saturn retrograde in Scorpio it is a time for some deep inner work and introspection. Feelings of loneliness, jealousy, possessiveness, depression and self doubt could arise from buried deep below the surface and now is the time to acknowledge & restructure these feelings. The emotional strength is available to you and a strong spiritual practice, prayer, meditation and affirmation is key to transforming this energy. There is intense work that needs to be done to finally release. Competitiveness will show up and you have to remind your self, there is no competition when you remember and embrace your own unique qualities and strengths.
Comparison will only zap your happiness and delay your ability to see your true worth. Saturn is about discipline and when it goes retrograde this work is more about restructuring and finding internal discipline.
LOVE
Our feelings have cooled a little with the moon in practical Virgo and Venus, our planet of love, in detached and independent Aquarius. Now you love and admire those who can see your weird and wacky qualities but love you anyways, those who give you your space and freedom to be but also can have an intelligent conversation.
There could be some feelings of detachment that come up and we may be inclined to get angry or fly off the handle. Unexpected emotion could surface and with Mars still retrograde until mid May we need to pay close attention to how we are directing and handling our aggressive feelings.
Allow space for those you love and if they want to be let alone, let them alone.
LESSON
- Take your time to be precise and to the point. Leave no stone unturned.
- Balance your need for imagination and responsibility, criticism & acceptance.
- Having a critical eye is key to doing things well, having a critical heart is the key to misery. Use your criticism constructively.
- Let go of perfectionism and realize it does not exist. Doing things well is admirable but space for imperfection provides a flexibility that allows your true imagination and vision to flourish.
