It’s that time again. MERCURY HAS OFFICIALLY GONE RETROGRADE as of Monday, October 21 until November 10th. This time Mercury is in the investigative and mysterious sign of Scorpio.
WHAT’S THIS MEAN??
Mercury is our planet of communication, transportation, contracts, buying & selling. When it goes retrograde it’s equivalent to going to sleep. Mercury’s energy begins moving backwards {or inward} and our thinking and communications become foggy and less clear. This means that THIS IS A TIME WHERE MISCOMMUNICATION IS HIGHLY LIKELY, forgetfulness is increased, and buying electronics or signing important contracts should be avoided. Practice patience and kindness and remember not to take things personally because it will be easy to misinterpret things now.
Obviously, life must go on so if you MUST sign contracts or buy electronics pay attention to the DETAILS. Read and re-read any contracts you may have to sign and make sure you have a back up plan {warranty, return policies etc}.
Mercury retrograde also means it’s a GREAT time to REthink, REdo, REwind & REconnect. You may find people or feelings from your past come forward as if out of nowhere. Anything left unresolved will have to be dealt with. This accompanied with our Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse a few days ago really increases our need to go inward and retreat into our homes and ourselves. IT’S A GREAT TIME FOR MEDITATION AND CONTEMPLATION AND REST.
With Mercury in Scorpio, the sign of depth, sex, extremes, passion, transformation and secrets, WE WILL BE NOTICING EMOTIONS AND THOUGHT PATTERNS RISE UP FROM UNDER THE SURFACE THAT WE THOUGHT WERE GONE OR NO LONGER EXISTED. ANYTHING YOU HAVE BEEN SUPPRESSING, AVOIDING OR HANGING ONTO WILL COME UP NOW IN ORDER TO BE DEALT WITH AND CLEARED. But, it’s up to YOU to let it go. It’s up to YOU to change the thought, pattern or behavior and CHOOSE LOVE INSTEAD OF FEAR. Mercury retrograde only brings us the opportunity to balance out and go a little deeper to transform our energy, to turn any darkness to light.
It’s true, The Scorpion has a sting and it might not feel real good to go “there” but once you do you will emerge stronger & wiser transforming to the Eagle who soars above all challenges.
