This New Moon in Cancer is conjunct the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. While all are opposing Pluto, our planet of intensity, transformation, depth, and what is hidden. What you think, what you feel, who you love, who you are is close to your heart and felt in the most sentimental way now.
Do you give into your fears and cling too tightly to the past?

There have been powerful forces at work, behind the scenes, initiating and instigating your growth and evolution. You are feeling it now. Your gut instinct is strong and you’re protective of the progress you’ve made so far. There is a feeling that you are finally getting to a place you belong. There is a feeling of security that you are beginning to reach within. You’re becoming more and more comfortable with how you feel. Change has been happening and the progress continues. You are listening to your intuition more and more, you are honoring your need to rest and take care of you. This is important to you, not only to acknowledge your own needs, but also to be more fully present and better at caring for those you love, your family, and the ones you have chosen as ‘family’.
There has been some procrastination while Mars was in retrograde. There has been hesitation on taking action, standing up for yourself, confronting your anger and resentments, and moving forward with changes you know need to be made. With all the Cancer energy {4 planets in Cancer} now there may be a tendency to stay in hiding, to move cautiously, but MOVE you must. Clinging to whatever you believe is keeping your safe and secure is what is actually stunting your growth. Cling to tightly and you will suffocate that which you love so dearly.

Emotions will run deep at the time of this New Moon. Make sure you are not looking to the past in dreamy disillusion {Neptune conjuncts South Node}. There is a lot of watery energy right now and you must acknowledge your feelings. Find where you feel most insecure, most vulnerable, and do your best to love yourself there. Take one small step towards facing your insecurities and little by little you will have made a difference.

YogaSTARology: Cancer is connected to the Chest, Breasts, Stomach, Pancreas, and Womb.
Exercise: Paschimottonasana
Directions: Sit down and extend your legs straight out in front of you. Draw your toes in towards your shins. Allow there to be some bend in the knees or place a pillow or rolled up towel or blanket under your knees {especially if you feel pulling behind the knees or the back of your legs and hamstrings are tight. Lift up out of your waist and keep your spine long. Grip wherever you can reach whether it be thighs, shins, ankles or feet and breathe deeply for about 6 breaths. Then allow everything to relax. Shoulders round forward, arms relax, head relaxes, legs relax and hang forward for 3mins. Continue breathing in and out through your nose and let the breath fill your low back. When done roll up slowly and rest in savasana for 1min.
Benefits: Supports the Pancreas connected with the sign of Cancer and opens the Kidney/Bladder meridians. This allows the energy to flow more freely and efficiently. Being that the kidneys are connected with fear in the body it assists in being able to move past your fears.
