This New Moon in Libra is asking us to take care of, and possibly take a closer look at, your relationship(s). This New Moon squares Pluto and asks us to make adjustments that need to be made regarding control, manipulation, or power struggles within our relationships. We want to make progress now and balance out whatever has been imbalanced. The new moon wants cooperation and love if you can just move past the shutting down and turning to stone within our intimate relationships. There is much growth to be had. However, Venus {Libras Ruling Planet} does go retrograde in Scorpio on October 5th until November 15th. When Venus goes Rx, our planet of love and beauty and feels her love withdraw more. It’s a time to review and really take a good look at if the relationships we do have are right for us. If you are not in a relationship you may be taking note of what you really appreciate and value in partnerships. It is a not a good time to make any changes related to your appearance or to undergo any cosmetic surgery during Venus Rx. Take this time to get clear on what’s important to you and what you appreciate.

With Venus square Mars there is some definite sexual tension present and if not expressed in a healthy way through sex, it can easily turn to anger and impulsive behavior. There is frustration to deal with. It’s important to allow this to be expressed physically. If not through sex, then through exercise. However, Venus trine Neptune helps us to creatively express and transform this energy if you are willing to be vulnerable, kind, and to use keen perception to understand the dynamics of the other.

Moon trine Mars brings a passionate spirit and deep feelings. Even if there are struggles with others you can feel strong and capable now. Whatever comes your way you can handle with charm, grace, and a magnetic influence…if you so choose.

Mercury sextile Saturn helps us to stay balanced and to use better judgment on how any obstacles need to be handled. Whatever it is you want to achieve within your relationships you can because you will be able to see more clearly the truth of the matter now. Mercury opposition Uranus doesn’t necessarily indicate you will do this in a calm manner though. It definitely doesn’t suggest that it will be easy either. There may be some twists and turns around this New Moon that you didn’t see coming. Don’t rush. Although, you may feel nervous and pressured this is not a good time to jump in. Take a breath and wait until your thinking is a bit more focused. Uranus always brings surprises but the surprise could be a sudden burst of insight or inspiration. Merging the old with the new, what has been tested and true and stood the test of time —mixed with new, exciting, and innovative ideas is the key to success now. Be open to merging something different and unknown with what you already know.

Take your time to weigh things out. But don’t stay stuck in limbo, never making a decision on anything. Just get clear. You know what is important to you. Can you speak up and show others (and yourself) that your needs matter too? This IS, after all, your life. You want to be happy! And who can blame you?! You decide now what brings you pleasure and move that direction. If it’s a relationship(s) that need adjustments you have the foresight to make the necessary changes. If it’s that you haven’t been giving to yourself or that you have been withholding love from others and from yourself, then take some time to extend a little Tender Loving Care now. If you value it, you will find a way.
