SUPER MOON 2015
This full moon happens to be a SUPER MOON which means that the intensity level is heightened. It’s a time when the moon is brighter and closer to the Earth than usual and we are said to be able to feel its magical magnetic pull even stronger and more potent.
“This second New Moon in Aquarius is also the second of six SuperMoons this year, which is when the Moon is closest in its approach to the Earth (perigee), and the Moon is also in a very close alignment with the Sun and Earth (syzygy). This adds even more power to the New Moon by placing pressure for change on Mother Earth (e.g., tides, gravitational pulls) and on our psyches and unconscious. We may, therefore, experience larger than usual shifts in understanding when SuperMoons are present.”~Anne Reith
The Moon is at the critical degree {29° degrees} of Aquarius and connected to our Sun in Pisces. Typically, this New Moon would be in Pisces but it BARELY missed the mark. Lingering in Aquarius to bring in another sweep of destruction to the ‘stable’ structures we have come to believe are SO important. What’s important now is that any idea, thought, image, or fantasies we have built up in our minds that do not align with our highest purpose, or utmost truth, come crumbling down. The Universe WILL see to it. You must sacrifice a part of your personality in order for the New You to emerge. There is an aspect of yourself and physical image that is falling away. Surrendering to the New You at the time of this New Moon is your best option.

Sudden emotional outbursts, followed up by significant Revelations may occur. You may feel like the walls are tumbling down but if you look closer, your wishes may very well be coming true, your dreams a reality. Can you accept? Your opportunity is here if you’ll stop resisting.

Because of Saturn’s relationship to this New Moon is stressed it is likely to cause feelings of isolation and loneliness. You may fall into the trap of feeling as if nobody supports you or understands your feelings. This would be an illusion based in fear, not a reality based in love.
With all of the change swirling about and the emotions being stirred you do have the ability to stay grounded and disciplined and create real change. STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF! The world is not out to get you. It is not caving in on you. You are your own worst enemy. Just allow your world to collapse into a pile of dust. You cannot make progress without a mess. Turn the situation around by turning your perspective around. Rebuild exactly the way you want it to be. If you choose to free yourself from judgment you will accomplish greatness.

LOVE
At the time of the New Moon Venus {planet of Love} is in the sign of Pisces and is connected to the planet Mars. It may be difficult not to act on all the sensitivity that is coming up now. We are compassionate and caring in our relationships but could be sweet and gentle one minute and spontaneously aggressive or argumentative the next. We could also be dreamy and delusional. Seeing the truth of our relationship is important now. The more you suppress, the more likely you will be to erupt. By Friday, February 20th both Mars and Venus will have moved into Aries. If you have been holding back in ouour love life, not seeing your relationship clearly, allowing yourself to be a doormat, and needing the courage to move forward and exert your independence NOW you will get your chance.
If things are running smoothly for you then you’ll feel a rush of fresh energy and will want to get out and about with your loved one and be more active.
If single, you will be longing for romance and sweetness and attracted to the quiet, gentle spirits who have a blend of the aggressive, confident, sweet and spiritual. By Friday, you will be ready to take steps forward towards a new love interest.

Yoga:
Since the Moon in Aquarius is at the 29° th degree and connected to our Sun in Pisces, we will look at Pisces AND Aquarius.
Aquarius is connected to the Calves and Ankles.
Pisces is connected to the Immune System & Feet.
Exercise:
Calve and foot stretch
Begin in Table Top pose on your hands and knees.
Place your hands underneath your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
Extend one leg straight back with ball of your foot on the ground. Press back through your heel.
For a deeper stretch lift the opposite knee off the ground as you push into the palms of your hands, continuing to press back through the heel of your foot.
Benefits:
Stretches the calf and ankle as well as the foot.
