Venus in Scorpio & The Universal Venus Period

In Western Astrology, on Friday, Dec 4 at 8:15pm {pst}, Venus moved into Scorpio. In Kabbalistic Astrology, this was followed up by us entering into our Universal Venus Period.
Venus is all about cooperation, beauty, the arts, desires, charm, love & lust. Indulging in life’s pleasures is what Venus energy brings. You want to have fun, enjoy yourself, quench your desires. But what is the cost?
Finding pleasure in what you do is key to creating a beautiful life. Pleasing others is key to good relationships. But, are you doing so at the cost of your own needs and truth? Are you indulging without taking into consideration what your succumbing to your desires might cost you?
When the planet Venus enters Scorpio, relationships INTENSIFY. Love runs deep and you are filled with the feelings of lust when it comes to love. Sex takes on a whole new meaning. You want soul to soul connection now and if you’re not getting it, you will go looking for it. Everyone has desires but
You want something magical, mind blowing, something that has you bursting at the seams, to lose yourself in another, to become completely immersed. You may try to satiate your desires for something more through occultism, magic, psychology, even manipulation.
Passion is good if it brings more fulfillment and understanding. If it’s the driving force to create positive change and meaningful, soulful interactions. NOT if it keeps you stuck in desires that couldn’t possibly nourish your soul.
What is needed now is a deeper understanding. Venus in Scorpio asks you to look a little closer. What has been superficial about your relationships? Your creative endeavors? Your interactions?
Scorpio energy brings the ability to transform or release situations, circumstances emotions, and people that are no longer good for us. Have your desires and brought you into unhealthy relationships, abuse, jealousy, revenge, substance abuse, extremism, manipulation and ongoing agony? It’s time to be REAL and allow things that need to end, to END. This is the ‘Death’ of the old way of being. You can tap into the MAGIC of Scorpio in Venus and the magnetism that draws all you want towards you. You just have to see things for what they are. There is a mysterious underlying force at work which needs to be understood.
