Venus, the planet of Love & Relationships, Socializing & Beauty, Money & Values reassesses her position. Moving backwards in the sky {from our perspective}, she takes her love within to move beyond the surface and see where she’s been and where she is going. How can she {we} create more beauty, love, luxury, balance, cooperation & value in life….
What is working and what is not?
What makes you feel loved, beautiful and valued?
Where are you spending your energy and is it worth it?
Old friendships or lovers reappear. Moving us back to past relationships, relationship issues from the past, buried resentments & problems, review of our finances and expenses and what we value within our relationships is up for review. Relationships can become more difficult and ones that are not built on solid ground will fall apart easily now. We are more aware of what we need and what we are lacking in our partnerships. This is not a good time to enter into a new relationship or to make any final/permanent decisions, as we won’t be seeing things as clearly as normal and may change our mind once Venus goes direct.
5 THINGS TO FOCUS ON DURING VENUS RETROGRADE
1. GO BENEATH THE SURFACE. Notice what could be holding you back in Venus related areas. Ie; Fear of intimacy, A reluctance to budget your money or dedicate your time & energy to making more, A need to be in a relationship at the expense of getting your own needs met? Acknowledge the hidden aspects of your relationships to others & yourself, money, beauty, and act constructively on your new discoveries.
2. HOLD OFF ON MAKEOVERS. Avoid plastic surgery, unplanned tattoos, redoing your wardrobe or taking on a new look. Any processes to beautify yourself or your environment should be basic, nothing too new or over the top and limited only to things that can easily be reversed. Otherwise, you may discover once Venus goes direct that you don’t see it the same and you made a choice you regret. Worse yet, your attempts to improve your looks may turn out nothing like you expected.
3. REVIEW RELATIONSHIPS. What do you value? Are you getting your needs met? What have you been overlooking in your relationship and do you need to move on? If you’re single, what have you been overlooking within yourself that you need to acknowledge in order to find a relationship that is valuable to you.
4. BUDGET YOUR LUXURIES. Do you need to make more money? Now you are able to see what is holding you back from increasing your income. Maybe you haven’t wanted the responsibility it requires to make the kind of money you want. Already have a good paying job but can’t seem to budget your money properly? Now you need to scale back. See where you can budget your luxuries, cut your expenses and spend only on what is most valuable to you.
5. DON’T COMMIT. Now is not the time. Take your time with any new relationships. As enticing as Venus and her desires can be, you could end up in something that is NOT what you were expecting. Strong desires, jealousy, possessiveness and revenge are the flip side of our loving planet Venus. TAKE YOUR TIME before giving into your desires and avoid tumultuous karmic ties.
★To bring harmony and balance to a relationship between you and another person recite this prayer★
Instructions: Close your eyes and visualize soft pink for “love”, light blue for “peace”and white light for “light. See it, as you say it, around you and the other person. Repeat the words below and add the persons name you want to create healing around and with. You can speak it out loud or silently to yourself. If you can’t remember the words or prefer to read it then close your eyes after you are done and imagine for a minute, the two of you are surrounded by love {pink light}, peace {light blue light} and light {white light}.
